Health Economics and AIDS Research Division, UKZN

Technical Consultant

The client required support in undertaking a baseline assessment of the interface between access to justice and public health services in South Africa. The baseline assessment was commissioned by one of the largest global programmes supporting public health programming in the sexual and reproductive health sector to frame the orientation of its next strategic cycle.

I was assigned to researching and providing analysis on access to justice and redress risks and potential remedial mechanisms for beneficiaries, as well as identifying likely programmatic investment areas for the commissioning client’s consideration.
