Judicial Training on Freedom of Expression, Access to Information and the Safety of Journalists

Client required the development and facilitation of a module in the Judicial Training on Freedom of Expression, Access to Information and the Safety of Journalists. The client requested special emphasis on the intersections of international and domestic law and information and communication technologies (ICTs), and human rights centred normative frameworks and approaches for interpreting, applying and developing existing laws on ICT and internet-related matters in their respective jurisdictions.
Participants constituted senior Judges of the high and superior courts of 13 African countries and the ECOWAS Court of Justice.
